Camp Souldust 2018

Explore the interconnectedness of where our challenges and limitations meet our motivations and supports through our individual and collaborative intentions and efforts.

Our tool? The Vertical Play Pen! The Play Pen is a challenge course climbing structure with various boards, ropes, and tires built straight up. The climber is secured by a harness and climbing rope, while being supported by a belay team managing your rope and dedicated to providing for your safety. In this workshop, we will face this particular tool with our focus on where our limitations are represented in both the engaging and supporting aspects of this activity. We will share with each other, honor each other’s needs, and actively respond to each other’s asks.

Any, and all, are invited to attend—whether you want to climb or not climbing, whether you are risk-seeking or risk-averse, whether you find yourself challenged to act or challenged to support. This is an opportunity for you to engage your limitation on multiple levels in a supportive space.

This workshop has a minimum of 10 participants, in order to have a big enough belay team.
