In Ancestral Flame Keeping, attendees will learn how to celebrate their own unique ancestry and how to keep the memories and spirits of their ancestors alive.

No matter where your lineage stems from, or how it has been colonized, conquered, reshaped and forgotten, there are ancient rites passed down from the furthest reaches of your genetic inheritance-- rites available to you because they sing through your blood. No spiritual entity is more invested in your health and well-being than your ancestors-- they literally lived and died for you.

In this workshop you'll how to honor and connect with your ancestors through culturally appropriate expressions. You'll learn how food connects us to our ancestors, how to create an ancestral altar, how to involve your ancestors in your daily and spiritual life and how to make steps towards cultural reparation, where necessary. We may also touch on connecting with the ancestors during the dreamtime. We'll begin with introducing ourselves and our ancestors to the ancestors of the land where the workshop is being held. 

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing to this outdoor workshop. Conversation, lecture, Q and A, introducing the ancestors that are with us to the ancestors of the land and learning how to respectfully gather items from the earth for altars are all part of this workshop.

In the morning (Astrology 101), you'll learn the basics of how to read your birth chart in a super simple, yet effective, method that turns the learning process into a game. You'll leave being able to understand and explain each of your planetary energies, and have a 'cheat code' for understanding others' charts too!

In the afternoon (Astrology 102), we'll deepen your understanding of what we covered in Astrology 101 by adding in how your planetary energies have 'conversations' with each other, and also explore each participant's Karmic Purpose, what YOU specifically came here to explore in this lifetime.

We’ll break off into small groups for role-playing, move our bodies to get out of our heads, and take cues from the animal kingdom’s mating shenanigans.

Expect liveliness, swearing, laughter, and vulnerability from dynamic (ecstatically married) duo Lola and Tigre.

Solo attendees, friends, and couples are all welcome at this workshop!  You do not need your spouse/partner in attendance, nor do you need to even be in a relationship.

You’ve done a typical vision board right?  A collage to represent your goals and dreams you want to achieve. Resolutions!  The dream house! Yoga body on a beach in Greece! The juicy relationship with Ryan Gosling’s doppelganger! Or, Ryan Gosling. Yes? Me too. It can be a powerful manifestation tool.

That’s not what we’re doing.

Rather than focusing on aspirations you want to manifest, you will tap into your instinct and uncover what your soul craves, what stories need to be told, what parts of you need to be seen. These techniques can help you deepen understanding of yourself, leading to a richer life. Be prepared for surprises as your collages emerge from within!

  • This workshop covers intuitive collage basics such as:
  • The difference between a traditional vision board and intuitive collage
  • Tapping into your instinctive self through basic collage practices
  • Interpreting your collage, to see what’s simmering in your subconscious
  • Supporting others in their interpretation, letting your intuition lead the way
  • The symbolic languages of color, shape, animals and more
  • Pattern, repetition and placement, and how they inform the collage message
  • Trusting your instinct in creating and interpreting these soul stories

All participants will leave with multiple completed collages. Collage surfaces will be provided in addition to magazines, scissors and adhesives. No artistic talent or experience required, just a willingness to explore and play!

In this course for both beginners and seasoned card readers you will learn some fresh and fun ways to approach the magical realm of divination. We will consider some of the basics including how to choose decks, how to discern the right questions, and then how to interpret the cards you pull—or jump out at you.

The reality is divination is alive— it is a dynamic co-creative dialogue with the Universe. Being able to tap into this well of wisdom is an invaluable tool for understanding yourself and others, and also a great system to help navigate these turbulent times.

Lucia is an award-winning Oracle deck creator, reader, and teacher, and she brings a playful irreverence to this ancient practice. Wildcrafting I: Herbal Medicine Making

This is an introductory class to plant communication, uses, herbal medicine making, and basic wildcrafting techniques.

We begin with a walk in the woods to identify medicinal plants and trees native to Camp Colman and most likely to those growing in your home environment. Nature grounds our central nervous system. When we are at one with nature, there is an ease to sensing the flora's energy and listening to their stories.

The second half of this class will move inside to explore common medicinal plants, their uses, and to prepare an herbal infused oil, the precursor to making salve, and enjoy an herb-infused drink.

Wear weather-appropriate attire. Bring a journal and pen/pencil.

Eric creates sonic soundscapes with a large array of crystal singing bowls, his voice and his Buffalo skin drum, creating an aural tapestry that is both relaxing and cathartic. Drawing on his Native American heritage, he co-facilitates a personal journey for each sound bath participant, tuning in deeply to the subtle nuances and messages of the bowls’ wisdom to release what is most needed. 

You will be deliciously enveloped in and recalibrated by sonic bliss as you recline comfortably on mats and are swaddled in blankets. Eric’s skill as a musician and sound healer will coax you into a relaxed mind state, allowing transformation and restoration to occur as your deepest levels during this 50 minute sound bath.

Please bring your own blankets, yoga mats, pillows or anything else you need to create your highest level of comfort for this experience. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Also, if you have issues with migraine headaches, inner ear issues or any seizure disorder, please contact us before adding this workshop to your schedule.

Reading tarot can be daunting - too many rules ("72 cards, 72 meanings to memorize.") while at the same time, not enough structure ("My intuition isn't telling me anything! How do I memorize the tarot spreads AND the meanings AND how these cards fit together? And then there are the reversals! Aah!").

In this workshop, we will break down the Major Arcana into tangible pieces, relating each piece to the human and spiritual journey you have and will continue to be going on in your life. Through storytelling, journaling, and reflection, you will learn tools for remembering each card, go through a healing journey of your own using the Major Arcana, and leave feeling more grounded and able to read Tarot for what it is meant to do - reflect your own powerful, intuitive self. 

This workshop is great for folks with no experience, or folks that have some experience reading but are looking to deepen their relationship with their decks and with their own healing through tarot.

Bring something to write with (if you learn well that way - other ways to reflect are welcome), and a tarot deck and book if you have them. There will be a few communal tarot decks to share and enjoy.

Stick around after the All-Camp Campfire for "ghost stories" that are actually beautiful signs from our loved ones who have passed. 

This fireside workshop focuses on taking the fear out of the unknown and using our own intuition to connect with the other side. After sharing our stories of spirit, the night will include an explanation of spirit energy, communication, debunking, intuitive exercises, signs and symbols, and protection from spirits who are not welcome. You’ll then sit quietly as Kim uses her tools of the trade-- from ghost hunting equipment such as EMF detectors and audio recorders; to metaphysical tools such as pendulums, dowsing rods and Tarot cards; and our own intuition! 

Loved ones on the other side often use the evening as an opportunity to come through so participants may receive an impromptu mediumship reading as well.

Through a unique and amusing guided process professional Oracle deck creator and teacher Mellissae Lucia will lead you to the essential aspects of the deck that wants to fly through you now. There is nothing in the world like holding your own cards that speak the language of your heart, and this class is designed to get you the f*ck out of the way and let a rad deck be birthed through YOU!

You do not have to have any special artistic or visioning skills, just an open, curious spirit and the willingness to let your Muses have their way with you. You will be amazed at what you can cook up in the magical Camp Souldust energy field. All supplies and card templates provided.

No matter where your lineage stems from, or how it has been colonized, conquered, reshaped and forgotten, there are ancient rites passed down from the furthest reaches of your genetic inheritance-- rites available to you because they sing through your blood. No spiritual entity is more invested in your health and well-being than your ancestors-- they literally lived and died for you.

In this workshop you'll how to honor and connect with your ancestors through culturally appropriate expressions. You'll learn how food connects us to our ancestors, how to create an ancestral altar, how to involve your ancestors in your daily and spiritual life and how to make steps towards cultural reparation, where necessary. We may also touch on connecting with the ancestors during the dreamtime. We'll begin with introducing ourselves and our ancestors to the ancestors of the land where the workshop is being held.

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing to this outdoor workshop. Conversation, lecture, Q and A, introducing the ancestors that are with us to the ancestors of the land and learning how to respectfully gather items from the earth for altars are all part of this workshop.

Making Medicine Bags: Honor Your Gifts

Wrap up your camp experience with some time to integrate all you have experienced in sacred space and create a piece of magic to carry out into your everyday world.  We will explore the concept of Personal Medicine, which is about honoring our uniqueness and the gifts that each of us brings to the collective.

During our time together we will capture the essence of who you are and different elemental medicines that want to work with you at this time and gather those things up into a tangible medicine bag for you to carry home with you.  Insert language about medicine bag traditions around the world

A drum journey will anchor our time together  as we work with the medicine of animals, herbs and each of the four elements. This leather bag will be crafted to hold items for grounding, protection, and strength, to be carried with you when you are longing to possess the same attributes and energy that the animals and elements carry.   

Your Medicine Bag will become a very personal sacred medicine item that you will treasure long after camp is over.

The reality is divination is alive— it is a dynamic co-creative dialogue with the Universe. Being able to tap into this well of wisdom is an invaluable tool for understanding yourself and others, and also a great system to help navigate these turbulent times.

Lucia is an award-winning Oracle deck creator, reader, and teacher, and she brings a playful irreverence to this ancient practice. Understanding the Wheel of the Year

The Earth supports you in your personal growth & spiritual evolution. Just like the plants in the garden, you are affected by the seasonal energy; whatever is happening outside is also happening to you—to your spirit, your growth & your energy.  

In this workshop you’ll learn how the seasons affect you throughout the year & how you can use this transformational energy to fuel your personal & spiritual growth. Learn how to work with the different seasonal energies, instead of against them.  

We’ll be discussing the 8 sacred seasonal days of the year—the Solstices, Equinoxes & cross-quarter days. (What are cross-quarter days?! … You’ll find out!) We’ll dive into each octant in the Wheel of the Year, and look closely at its themes & influence. How do the seasonal energies flow into one another & how does it all relate to your own journey?  

Then, we will each make a personalized Wheel of the Year to take home! Using art supplies & collage materials you will craft your own Sacred Wheel in order to better understand & visualize the effects of each season. (No artistic experience or skill needed!) 

You will leave this workshop with a deeper understanding of the Wheel of the Year, and a real grasp on how the seasonal energies affect your spirit throughout the year. Connecting with the energy of the seasons guides you into a deep, rich connection with your Highest  Self, with the Earth & with the Divine. Leave feeling inspired, supported, connected & empowered.
